The Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate ("Frank”) was a Japanese single-engine fighter aircraft flown by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force during World War II. The Ki-84 was first flown in March 1943 and entered service with the IJAAF in 1944. 3,514 aircraft were built.
