Hermann Graf was a German Ace pilot in World War II with 212 victories. Graf also was the first person ever to score 200 kills. He recorded his first victory on August 4, 1941 during “Operation Barbarossa”. He flew a total of 830 missions with 202 of his 212 victories scored on the Eastern Front. Six of his 10 aerial victories accumulated on the Western Front were against four-engine bombers.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German single-seat fighter aircraft used by the Luftwaffe during World War II. The prototype was first flown on June 1, 1939 and production deliveries began in late 1941. The Fw 190 proved to be suitable for a wide variety of roles, including; air superiority fighter, strike fighter and ground attack. From 1941 to 1945, over 20,000 Fw 190s were built.
