The Grumman Flxible 870 was a transit bus manufactured from 1978 to 1983. In the last year of production the redesigned 870 became known as the Grumman Metro. Grumman sold Flxible to General Automotive Corp. in 1983 and production continued under the Flxible name. Production of the Flxible Metro ended in 1996 after Flxible ceased operations.
