The Grumman Flxible 870 was a transit bus manufactured from 1978 to 1983. In the last year of production the 870 was redesigned and became known as the Grumman Metro. Grumman sold the Flexible division to General Automotive Corp. in 1983 and production of the Metro continued under the Flxible name until 1996 when Flxible ceased operations.
