The General Motors (GMC) PD-4107 ‘Buffalo’ was an intercity motorcoach introduced in 1966. It had a stepped roof in front and the first three rows of seats were at different levels, mounted on stepped floors similar to theatre seating. The PD-4107 was 35’ long and (without lavatory) would seat 41 passengers (38 or 39 with a lavatory). In 1968 the PD-4903 (40’ version of the PD-4107) was introduced that would seat 49 passengers (46 or 47 with lavatory). Between 1966 and 1980 GM built a total of 1,564 35’ and 2,966 40’ “Buffalo” motorcoaches.
