The General Motors (GMC) PD-4107 ‘Buffalo’ was an intercity motorcoach introduced in 1966. It was similar in some ways to the GM PD-4501 Scenicruiser design but had a larger second level and a smaller first level with a lavatory located at the rear. The PD-4107 had a stepped roof and the first three rows of seats were at different levels, mounted on stepped floors, similar to theatre seating. The PD-4107 was 35’ long and (without a lavatory) would seat 41 passengers (38 or 39 with a lavatory). In 1968 the PD-4903 (a 40’ version of the PD-4107) was introduced that would seat 49 passengers (46 or 47 with lavatory). From 1966 until 1980 GM built 1,564 35’ and 2,966 40’ “Buffalo” motorcoaches.Die-cast metal body
