Based on the DC Comics character, the film Batman Returns pits Batman against the deranged Penguin who is intent on becoming Mayor of Gotham City. But when the mysterious Catwoman appears on the scene, Batman must deal with two adversaries. In order to defend Gotham from evil, Batman needs a potent vehicle. His BATMOBILE is long, low and sleek, combining design elements from 1930s coupes with those of modern racing cars. It features a repeating bat motif evident in the distinctive wing-shaped tail fins.

Batman Returns, released in 1992, was the second film in Warner Bros. Batman series. It was directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton as Batman / Bruce Wayne, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman / Selina Kyle, Danny DeVito as the Penguin / Oswald Cobblepot and Christopher Walken as Max Shreck.
