The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German single-seat fighter aircraft used by the Luftwaffe during World War II. The prototype was first flown on June 1, 1939 and production deliveries began in late 1941. The Fw 190 proved to be suitable for a wide variety of roles, including; air superiority fighter, strike fighter and ground attack. From 1941 to 1945, over 20,000 Fw 190s were built.Opening canopy
