Eurofighter EF-2000 98+07 began as 30+44, c/n 151/GS029/PA7, a regular German Luftwaffe registration, but when it was designated as a test aircraft the registration changed to 98+07. On January 19, 2022 Instrumented Production Aircraft 98+07 completed its first flight wearing the new paint scheme. This celebrated the 60 years Airbus has been located at Manching. Airbus uses Manching as one of their locations to test military design and development. The blue and white scheme represents the Bavarian flag and the tail displays various shapes of aircraft from the past and for the future.
