Sukhoi Su-35S Flanker E “Red 07” performed a stunning aerobatic routine at the 2013 Paris air show. The new Sukhoi T-50 stealth aircraft also made an appearance but according to all those in attendance the star of the show was the Su-35S. Red 07 performed rolls, tight turns using its thrust vectoring and demonstrated the engines power by performing the Pugachev Cobra. This aircraft also made an appearance at MAKS 2013 air show held just outside Moscow where they hoped to impress potential buyers.

The Sukhoi Su-35S “Flanker E” is a highly modified and improved derivative of the Su-27 fighter aircraft. The first variant was designed during the 1980s as an upgrade of the Su-27, and was initially known as the Su-27M. The prototype made its maiden flight in June 1988. Considered by many to be the most capable fourth generation fighter aircraft in the sky and equipped with many fifth generation technologies.
