The 1980 film The Blues Brothers starred John Belushi as “Joliet” Jake Blues and Dan Aykroyd as Elwood Blues. After the release of Jake from prison, he and brother Elwood go to visit "The Penguin", the last of the nuns who raised them in a Catholic boarding school. They learn that a $5,000 tax on the property must be paid within eleven days to keep the place open. The Blues Brothers want to help, and decide to put their blues band back together and raise the money by staging a concert. After the concert, Jake and Elwood are in a race against time, as well as the Chicago Police and other enemies they made along the way, to reach the tax assessor’s office and make the payment before the deadline.
