The Modern Basestar also referred to as a base ship was a bio-mechanical craft created by the Cylons following the First Cylon War.

Eaglemoss has worked closely with members of the modern Galactica VFX team to ensure that the models in this series are as detailed and accurate as possible. The accompanying magazine profiles each ship and features interviews with the show's creators including Ronald Moore. This series will feature models from both the classic and 2004 television series.
