The Boeing KC-46A is a military aerial refueling tanker and strategic transport aircraft developed for the U.S. Air Force as a replacement for the aging KC-135 Stratotanker. In addition to its role as an aerial tanker it can be configured to carry cargo, passengers, or serve as an aero-medical evacuation aircraft. The KC-46A is based on a variation of the Boeing 767-200 with an improved version of the KC-10 refueling boom and cockpit displays from the 787. Boeing is contracted to build four test aircraft and deliver 18 operational KC-46A tankers by August 2017. The assembly of the final test aircraft began on January 16, 2014. The USAF is to purchase 179 KC-46As with all of them being delivered by 2028.
Dragon Models offers a wide range of high quality, ready-made, diecast models. Each model is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, using specifications of the original aircraft. They are constructed with precision-made die-cast metal and some plastic components.
