Corgi Diecast Model
Vintage Bus Lines Series
PCC Streetcar - CSL, Kenosha, Wisconsin
1:50 Scale. Length: 11"
Limited Edition
Just north of Chicago, right over the Wisconsin border, is the city of Kenosha. A key element of the city’s revitalization was the introduction of five vintage PCC cars, acquired from Toronto, to transport people around the downtown loop. This service was dedicated on June 17, 2000, with the introduction of service cars “Cincinnati,” “Toronto,” Pittsburgh,” “Kenosha,” and “Chicago”.
The Presidents Conference Committee streetcar design was first built in 1936. The design was successful, and after WWII was licensed for use elsewhere in the world. PCC cars proved to be a long lasting icon of streetcar design, and are still in service in various places around the world
