The formation of the Vigilant Hose Company dates back to the 1840s. Since then it has seen its fair share of Seagrave apparatus. In 2002 the Vigilants reacquired this 1963 Seagrave, which had been sold in 1981, and have an eye toward refurbishing it for use in parades.
The Corgi "Heroes Under Fire" range includes high quality, ready-made, die-cast models of fire and rescue apparatus. Every model is crafted using specifications of the original vehicle. They are made with diecast metal and some plastic components.
