This former USAF Boeing C-97 is one of only two left flying in the world today. The Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation purchased this aircraft in 1966. It was repainted in the colors of the sole USAF C-97 Stratofreighter, known as "Angel of Deliverance", used in the 1948 Berlin airlift.
