The A-Team (TV Series) 1983 GMC Vandura Cargo Van

1:50 Scale.  Approximate Length: 3.5"

The A-Team is an action/adventure television series produced by Stephen J. Cannell that aired on NBC from 1983 to 1987. The storyline revolved around four fictional U.S. Army Vietnam vets who proclaim they were framed for robbing a bank during the war. They now work as soldiers of fortune helping crime victims while evading the military police who are pursuing them.

The vehicle used by the A-Team, which was owned in the series by B.A. Baracus, was a 1983 GMC Vandura G-Series cargo van. The van, with its red stripe, black and red mag wheels and rooftop spoiler was customized by the Universal Studios Prop Department.

The A-Team starred George Peppard as John “Hannibal” Smith, Dirk Benedict as “Face”, Mr. T as B.A. Baracus and Dwight Schultz as H.M. "Howling Mad” Murdock.
