The Birney Car was an electric trolley developed in the 1910s by Charles O. Birney. The Birney was popular in small cities because they were economical for a system not needing large cars. For large cities, Birneys were used on lightly traveled lines where large cars were not justifiable.
The Corgi "Vintage Bus Lines" range includes highly detailed bus, trolley and streetcar models. These fully assembled models are crafted using the specifications of the original vehicle. They feature clear view windows with interior seating and historically accurate paint schemes. Corgi models are constructed with precision-made diecast metal and some plastic components.
