This highly detailed model replicates an International Transtar owned by Sulley & Son Trucking of Denver, Colorado from 1975-1981. It features a hinged tilt-forward cab with a detailed engine, polished chrome bumper, chrome air scoops and an award-winning paint scheme. It includes a detachable King lowboy trailer.
The Transtar COE (cab-over-engine) tractor was one of the most popular rigs of the 1970s and 1980s. It provided truckers with an affordable, heavy-duty, rig with which to enter the business as an owner/operator.
The Corgi Heavy Haulers Series includes high quality, ready-made, die-cast models of tractor trailers and other commercial trucks. Every model is crafted using specifications of the original vehicle. They feature accurate structural detail and paint schemes, rotating wheels, and rubber tires. Corgi models are constructed with diecast metal and some plastic components.
