The Typhoon was a British single-seat fighter-bomber produced by Hawker Aircraft. Introduced in 1941, as the intended replacement for the Hawker Hurricane as an interceptor, the Typhoon eventually evolved into one of the most successful ground-attack aircraft of World War II
