In January 1943 the first of 150 British made Spitfires landed at Soviet airdromes. One of these Spitfires, with the serial number EP210, is the subject of this model. EP210 was manufactured in Castle Bromvich in June 1942, after which it was sent to maintenance units 9 and 82. Since October 23, it was on the ship Bandar Shapure, and in January, 1943 it was sent to the USSR.
